Affordable Care Act

In June 2012, the United States Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also commonly referred to as “Obamacare.” Although the plan means different things for young adults, families and seniors, the primary goal of the ACA is to decrease the number of Americans living without health insurance and to make medical services more affordable for all. The Arthritis Foundation applauds Congress’ support of a plan to address the needs of the 50 million Americans living with arthritis.
